Building ART in 0.8 is a huge mistake.... The base game was balanced for a much lower loss ratio (as well as absolute losses).

Yike. This test probably overstates the issue since the AI tends to front shuffle so much, but not encouraging....

I feel like we have a German player volunteering! ;) I do feel confident I could do a bit better than charging half my Panzer divisions through 120% attrition at least and attacking right before mud season :P ( Which accurate or not of the situation is the only snapshot of the savegame that I have ...

However if you look at the latest save, you'll notice that the "steady-state" of this mod makes it so that it is VERY difficult to "rest and recuperate" (as you put it). This depends on alot of different factors so it's impossible for me to tell you why. I can speculate however, in the May 11:th 19...

Does this mean that it is "sub-optimal" for a Japanese player to build anything but 12xInf divisions? Not even engineers and support artillery?

We chose to attack in Feb when the ground was frozen knowing that we would have to pause once the mud hit in the spring. Once the mud arrived we stopped nearly all offensives. All German losses have so far have been to planes in the Iberian seazone. The UK has funneled all trade through this zone. Whether that is balanced should be the focus of discussion. I think alex rightly pointed out that you need to not raid in areas that are dangerous. You have to cat-and-mouse it...
