Regardless of which scenario we select, I think it'd be a fun idea to have each of ourselves in game as a general! Unless Jones or anyone else is more comfortable doing it, I'll volunteer to take over the duties of creating the custom generals that we'll use.

So, the first step is to post a picture of yourself that you want to use for this, and I'll resize/de-color it so it'll look great in game.

I already created a custom scenario for myself in this way, for example:

Go to town, Tiedup!

Please take this and run with it. I'm very short on time these days, and anyways I'm sure you're way better at this stuff than I am.

Sweet, I'll get you a pic. No matter what scenario. Maybe I'll have to find some military uniform or something and get a pic done right... hehe.

I'm only good for writing, but I'll get you a pic as soon as I'm able.

Gotta say, it's fun seeing these pictures. People never look like how you imagine them to be!

Thanks to everyone who posts. I can host a picture if anyone wants to put one up. Just email it to me at the Admin at warplanorange.

OK.

Since we are getting closer to our anniversary session, I was thinking that we should simply input our own generals into our current game, as opposed to playing a 1 night '38 or '39 scenario. We'd just keep those generals in the game moving forward. I think it would be a fun touch.

I'm gonna post up a point schedule for various skills and talents so we can each 'design' our general. I'll work on that tonight, while hanging out at the gym waiting for my class to start.

I know this thread and topic has fallen silent, but lets get pics posted.

Jones, we can send you pics to host on the wpo server right?

Thoughts?!?

Ok.

How this works: Everyone will build their own general using the points scheme below. It looks fairly balanced, if you see anything blatant, please speak up. If its a minor inbalance, lets try to let those go for sake of progression.

Each player gets 100 points to spend on their General. Using the points listing below, you select the Rank, Skill and traits you want so long as your points total does not exceed 100.

Ranks:
- Lt Gen: 0 pts
- Gen: 10 pts
- FM: 20 pts

Skill:
1: 10
2: 20
3: 40
4: 60
5: 80

Traits:
- Offensive: 15
- Defensive: 15
- Log Wiz: 10
- Panzer: 15
- Commando: 15
- Engineer: 10
- Winter Spec: 10
- Urban Fighter: 10
- Hills Fighter: 10
- Mountaineer: 10
- Jungle Rat: 10
- Trickster: 15

Trait Multipliers
Slot 1: x1
Slot 2: x1
Slot 3: x2
Slot 4: x2
Slot 5: x2

Tip: Put more expensive traits in slot 1 and 2.

Example 1

General (10)
Skill 1 (10)
Slot 1: Offensive (15)
Slot 2: Panzer (15)
Slot 3: Trickster (30, 15x2)
Slot 4: Log Wiz (20, 15x2)

Example 2

General (10)
Skill 1 (10)
Slot 1: Offensive (15)
Slot 2: Defensive (15)
Slot 3: Engineer (20)
Slot 4: Hills Fighter (30)

Example 3

Field Marshal (20)
Skill 3 (40)
Slot 1: Offensive (15)
Slot 2: Panzer (15)

Basically, you can have alot of traits, rank or skill, not all 3. Hopefully this is straight forward enough, let me know if you have any questions. Else, go ahead and post your general and get your pic in so we can get the modification code ready to insert into our save for the Anniversary Session.
