So I'm about to head out to California for most of July.

I'll be in town Tuesday and Wednesday nights, but gone until the evening of July 29th. I plan on installing WitP on my kid's gaming laptop, but I dont want to risk corrupting the save via 2nd install. So my thought is, that you keep the turn for those 2 weeks and spend some time with your housekeeping stuff. I'll take a pre-turn save and then use my kid's laptop to do planning and keep the state of the game in my head (as well as make a big TODO list for myself.

Thoughts??

That would work. I'm at a stage where I need to start thinking mid-game so this might be a good opportunity to do it. I don't think running a turn on a second laptop will be an issue. Your call though but I think you can just copy over the game directory to the new PC. No install required?
