A pertinent quote

While reading a book on the Second World War I stumbled upon a quote which made me think of this game:

"The Americans learned lessons often forced upon the British before them: about the quality of enemy armour, the speed of the Germans' actions and reactions, the ruthlessness with which they pressed every advantage."

While in this game the Americans have been fortunate enough to not yet feel the full force of the Germans, the British certainly have! And now I feel sorry for the Soviets. Anyway, the USA has definitely experienced the ruthless efficiency of the Japanese in their handling of naval combat!

I think I've learnt more in this game then I have from all my single-player games. Hopefully the British can remain a force to be reckoned with in the sessions to come!
